Seamus Walsh & Mark Caballero joined forces in 1995 with the aim of creating dynamic stop-motion character animation.

Their unique approach combines the whimsy of classic cartoons with the texture and dimensionality of puppet animation, creating a colorful mixed-media aesthetic.

Working for MTV Animation during the late '90's, Seamus & Mark hooked up with writing/producing partner Chris Finnegan. In 2003 the trio officially formed their own company, Screen Novelties, represented by ka-chew.

Their recent work includes a spot for Nike (Wieden + Kennedy), a clay sequence for The Spongebob Squarepants Movie, and developing their short film, Monster Safari, for Nickelodeon. Their dream sequence for Cartoon Network's "Flintstones: On the Rocks" feature received much acclaim, and their short films have played in over 60 festivals around the world, including Sundance, Slamdance, Annecy and Ottawa.

In 2002 Seamus and Mark helped one of their heroes, Ray Harryhausen, restore and complete a film he had begun nearly 50 years before: The Tortoise & the Hare. Their hard work paid off and the film received the Annie Award in 2003 for outstanding short subject, as well as garnering attention from The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.

They are currently directing the animation for Cartoon Network's "Robot Chicken" for the Adult Swim block.
