Liz Blazer is an animation director whose quirky style and strong story sense are matched with a flair for edgy design. Her recent ka-chew projects include nine webisodes for WE Network’s “Bridezillas” and “The Food Court Diaries,” created for Cartoon Network’s “Sunday Pants.” “The Food Court Diaries” showcased Liz’s unique animated documentary style by combining cut-out animation with hilariously honest teen interviews. Her award wining film “Backseat Bingo,” featured lively interviews with senior citizens discussing sex in the golden years. “Backseat Bingo” screened at over 180 festivals in twenty-five countries and won (among other honors) a Comedy Short Award at the HBO Comedy Arts Festival and an Honorable Mention from the International Documentary Association (IDA).
Liz specializes in commercial and short form projects that are both funny and infused with heart. Informed by her years of industry experience at MTV, Disney and Sesame Street, Liz’s directing work in animation is memorable for its precise comic timing and human touch. We’re thrilled to have her on board.
